Beneath all of it, there are two foundational purposes for Ride the Earth®:
1. If you aren't a Christian, we'd like to invite you to become a Christian in the most compelling ways we can. (See Ride the Earth)
2. If you are a Christian, we'd like to encourage you in your faith. (See Ride the Earth)
And our company has also been designed to be the thinking person's approach to a discussion about God's existence. This is not a "shut off your brain" and take a blind leap of faith off the metaphorical cliff into the vastness and the emptiness, hoping that God might suddenly appear out there to catch you.
This is a "turn on your brain" and crack open your eyes, just the tiniest bit, and take a look at what's constantly going on around us, then recognize that there has to be a God. (Traveling at 2.84 million miles an hour without a seat belt or some awfully heavy shoes is not a feat that's easily accomplished). And the logic would only follow, then, that every moment that we have is an absolute miracle. Every breath that we take is a gift, poured out from the hands of that same God.

Meet Paul & Kathy
The Founders of Ride The Earth®
This is Paul - A good while ago, back in elementary school, our teacher presented the initial concept that the Earth was spinning on its axis at 1,000 miles an hour. And I immediately raised my hand and said, "No, it's not. Look around us, we're not moving at all."
And ever since that day I've been fascinated by the fact that the Earth, so stable and solid beneath us, is in constant and unwavering motion.
But while I still want to say, "No, it's not", in response to the incomprehensible absurdity of our fantastical journey at millions of miles per hour, what's even more amazing to me is the commonly promoted idea that we're just randomly, spontaneously, or even coincidentally cruising along at that particular speed. (Once again, take a moment exploring the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics). Because from my way of thinking, that fact is the single greatest, most compelling argument for God's existence, and for His loving care, that I can possibly think of.
So Ride the Earth has been created as an advertisement for that same God, through Jesus Christ, who is both the Creator and the Captain of our flying celestial ship. And we have all been offered the life-changing opportunity to go along with Him, on the great adventure that is the Ride.
